MSI unveils G2712V FHD gaming monitor with IPS screen and 100Hz frame rate

MSI has unveiled a new gaming monitor. The model is called MSI G2712V.

Here's What We Know

The new monitor features a 27" IPS matrix. The liquid crystal panel has Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and refresh rate of 100 Hz.

According to the manufacturer, the 8-bit matrix (6-bit + FRC) has brightness up to 300 nits and is capable of displaying 84.14% of the DCI-P3 colour palette. The response time is 1ms. Also note the support for AMD FreeSync technology (not Premium or Premium Pro).

MSI G2712V has a 3.5mm headphone jack, DisplayPort 1.2a and HDMI 1.4b. There are no USB-C ports.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The price of the monitor has not been specified yet. No information on when the MSI G2712V will be available at the moment either. But it is known that the novelty will not be sold in Germany.
