MediaTek unveiled an improved version of its Dimensity 7200 chip

MediaTek has quietly announced a new processor of the Dimensity lineup.

Here's What We Know

The chip was named Dimensity 7200 Ultra. The novelty is a slightly improved version of Dimensity 7200. The chip is built on TSMC's 4-nanometre 2nd generation process. It has two 2.8 GHz Cortex A715 cores, six 1.8 GHz Cortex A510 cores and Mali G610 MC4 graphics.

The Dimensity 7200 Ultra supports cameras up to 200 megapixels, displays up to 144Hz, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The new product comes with the company's proprietary HyperEngine 5.0 technology and APU 650 module.

When We Can Expect It

The first smartphone with Dimensity 7200 Ultra chip will hit the market soon. It will be the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
