Huawei Sound SE: a smart speaker on HarmonyOS operating system for $123

Huawei has quietly announced the new Sound SE smart speaker in China.

What we know

The model is a simplified version of the Sound X speaker, which debuted in July. The novelty got the same round design with controls and backlighting on the top.

The device is equipped with six sound units. They include three wide-band speakers, one woofer and two passive radiators. As with the older model, the Huawei Sound SE sound tuning was the responsibility of French company Deevialet. The novelty has Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, as well as an AUX connector. The speaker works under the proprietary operating system HarmonyOS. The gadget is able to quickly connect to Huawei smartphones.

Price and when to expect

Huawei Sound SE has already started selling in China. The price is $123.
