Blockchain.com will block all accounts of Russian users on October 27

Another cryptocurrency platform imposes sanctions against users from the Russian Federation.

Wallet Blockchain.com sent out a letter to Russian customers, which informs about the blocking of their accounts from October 27, 2022. The restrictions come in line with new European Union sanctions against Russia.

The company states that it can no longer provide custodial services to clients from the Russian Federation. In addition, the rewards service is also not available to users with Russian passports. That said, Blockchain.com will not immediately block funds. Russians will be able to withdraw money until October 27.
