When will Apple start selling the new MacBook Air with the M2 chip?

At the WWDC 2022 conference in early June Apple introduced MacBook Air with M2 chip. Now it became known when the novelty will go on sale.

When to expect

According to MacRumors, pre-orders for the laptop will open on July 8. That is next Friday. And sales of the device will begin in a week - July 15. The novelty will cost in the US from $1199. For comparison, the previous model started at $999.

Recall that the new MacBook Air boasts an updated design in the style of the MacBook Pro. The device was equipped with a new proprietary M2 processor, MagSafe magnetic charging, as well as improved speakers, display and webcam.
