Sony has revealed the Xperia 1 V flagship ahead of the announcement

Sony has unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the Xperia 1 V (Xperia 1 Mark 5), without waiting for the launch on 11 May.

Here's What We Know

A billboard with the device has appeared on a street in Hong Kong. The photo backs up the rumours. The novelty will get the same design as the current model. Apart from that, the device will hit the market in three colours: white, black and green.

According to the leaks, Xperia 1 V will get a body with dimensions of 161.0×69.3×8.5 mm, a 6.5-inch display with no holes and notches, a 12 MP + 48 MP + 12 MP main camera, a top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone should cost over $1000.
