Sony has released an update for PlayStation 5 that boosts the console's performance

Sony has released an update for the PlayStation 5 game consoles.

What we know

The new software version is numbered 22.01-05.00. The size of the update is about 1 GB, which means it won't take long to install. The update improves the performance of PlayStation 5 and adds the ability to set the automatic low input delay mode.

The console owner can configure the mode settings himself (Settings => Screen => Video => Video Output => ALLM). If you select "Automatic", the TV will switch to low delay mode during the game. If "Disable" is activated, the low input delay mode will only be enabled in Adaptive Frame Rate Sync mode.
