The Pinocchio we didn't know: new trailer for the action-RPG Lies of P

At the gamescom opening ceremony, Round 8 Studio showed a new trailer for Lies of P, a dystopian, souls-like game.

The reel confirms early speculation that the project is very similar to Hidetaka Miyazaki's famous Bloodborne. The footage shows Pinocchio battling intimidating and dangerous mechanical enemies and making his way through intricate locations.

Players will be offered a variety of weapons and methods of fighting enemies. It is announced that the game will be available on the Xbox Game Pass service on release day.

Lies of P is being developed for PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Stadia - release scheduled for 2023.
