Ubisoft released a special video to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the spy stealth action series Splinter Cell.

Here's What We Know

The most interesting thing in this video are the screenshots of the remake of the first part of the game. They show the bleak locations, the protagonist Sam Fisher and his enemies. Of course, the concept arts do not give a full idea about the game, but they show its atmosphere and style.

Besides the artwork, Ubisoft game designers revealed some of the details about the Splinter Cell remake development. They noticed that the project is in its early stages, so fans of the series will have to wait for its release.

Game designers are planning not only to improve the graphics, but also to add new game features and expand the locations by making them multi-level and interesting. Ubisoft developers took the third part of the series with Chaos Theory as a reference point.

Changes will affect the plot of the game, they want to adapt it to the needs of modern audiences.

As a bonus, you can get the PC version of the first part of the Splinter Cell game for free in Ubisoft's store.
