"Everyone has their own demons": Polish developers unveil a dystopian role-playing game set in an alternative Warsaw of 1905

A new game has been announced by the Polish studio Fool's Theory, which is currently working on a remake of the first part of The Witcher.

Here's What We Know

The game will be called The Thaumaturge, and it will be set in an alternative Warsaw in 1905.

It will be an isometric RPG with a lot of challenging and non-obvious choices that affect the narrative.

The player character will prove to be a taumaturg mage who is able to summon and fight salutatorian demons. A grim story awaits players.

When We Can Expect It

The game is created on Unreal Engine 5 and will be released "soon" and appears to be released only on PC (Steam, GOG and EGS).

The Thaumaturge can already be added to your wishlist.
