Epic Games will officially unveil Unreal Editor for Fortnite on March 22

Epic Games has finally shared information about the long-awaited Unreal Editor for Fortnite, which will allow creators to create maps in Fortnite much faster.

Here's What We Know

Unreal Editor for Fortnite is a new PC application for designing, developing, and publishing games and experiences individually in Fortnite. It contains many powerful Unreal Engine 5 tools, including asset import, modelling, various materials and VFX, sequencer, and controller, giving you virtually unlimited possibilities for creating Fortnite content for millions of players to enjoy. Epic Games will also later introduce a new programming language, Verse, specifically for UEFF.

The new toolkit is the next step in the development of the creative mode that Epic Games launched in 2018. Thanks to it, various brands and players were able to create even their own profitable businesses, and with the new UEFF, they will be able to significantly expand this experience. Thus, Epic Games will compete with Roblox, which has long had its own game creation platform.

The Unreal Editor for Fortnite will be presented on March 22 during the State of Unreal event.
