The developers of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater have revealed some interesting details about the remake of the cult game

IGN' s Adam Bankhurst got in touch with Konami representatives to find out some details about the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake.

Here's What We Know

  • The Japanese developer has confirmed what everyone has been guessing: Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima and character designer Yoji Shinkawa are not involved in the development of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater.
  • The bulk of the development team consists of Konami employees who were involved in creating previous Metal Gear titles, while game designers from Virtuos studio assist them.
  • The third instalment of Metal Gear Solid was not chosen by chance, as this game is the origin of the story of Big Boss, the character around whom the Metal Gear storyline is built.
  • If Delta is warmly received by gamers and critics, audiences may see remakes of other parts of Metal Gear Solid as well.

It was revealedyesterday that the MGS 3 remake will use the voiceover from the original 2004 game.
