It's now official: Honor 50 is launched in Europe on October 26

Honor introduced the Honor 50 line of smartphones in China in June this year, and now it is preparing for a European release.

What we know

According to the Chinese manufacturer, the new series of devices will be presented in Europe already on October 26. There will be two models in the lineup: Honor 50 and Honor 50 Lite. The smartphones will be devoid of any restrictions related to American sanctions. This means that they will get both 5G support and pre-installed Google services, including the branded Google Play store, as well as licensed version of the Android OS.

Recall, Honor 50 will get a 6.57-inch display with AMOLED matrix, FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a primary camera with a 108 MP sensor. The novelty will be powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor paired with an integrated 5G modem. As for the Honor 50 Lite, it will be a simplified version of the regular model. It is credited with a smaller screen, 64 MP camera and LTE support instead of 5G.
