Honor has unveiled the Play 40S smartphone in China, making it the third representative of the new generation, joining the previously announced Play 40C and Play 40 models.

Here's What We Know

Honor Play 40S is a budget-class model. The smartphone is equipped with a TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The diagonal of the screen is 90 Hz.

Hardware platform novelty is built around a chip Snapdragon 480 + with support for 5G. The processor is complemented by 4 GB of RAM. The storage capacity was 128 GB, and the battery capacity is 5200 mA*h.

Honor Play 40S has got 13 MP and 8 MP primary and front cameras respectively. The smartphone also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-C and a 3.5mm jack for wired headphones in its arsenal.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Honor Play 40S has been priced at $135. The smartphone is already available in China in black and green body colours. About the appearance of the model in the global market so far there is no information.
