Huawei Mate 50 Pro is the second best camera phone in the DxOMark ranking

In early September, Huawei unveiled its new flagship Mate 50 line, headed by the top-of-the-line Huawei Mate 50 Pro smartphone. A few months later, DxOMark experts tested its main camera and Google Pixel 7 Pro leadership did not last a month - Huawei Mate 50 Pro is now the best camera phone in the world according to DxOMark. Now finally it's time for the front camera.

As a result, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro became the leader of the DxOMark rating and for the quality of taking selfies. Its average score is 145: 147 points for photo and 143 points for video. But the smartphone shares first place with the iPhone 14 Pro, which has the same score. Nevertheless, to date, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro tops two ratings at once thanks to both of its cameras.

The pros of the front camera include a nice skin tone in photos, good detail, low noise, and a wide dynamic range. However, there are also cons: a little inaccurate skin tones in some conditions, some artifacts, coarse noise and lack of detail in the video in low light.
