Rumour: Siri will get a major update with the release of iOS 18

While iPhone users are waiting for the release of iOS 17, rumours about the next generation of the operating system have already surfaced on the internet.

Here's What We Know

According to The Information, Apple is planning a major update for the voice assistant with the release of iOS 18. Developers will teach the assistant to perform difficult multi-level tasks. For example, Siri will be able to take a series of 5 photos, and then turn the photos into GIF-animation and send the file via messenger. All of this will happen in one action.

Apple also plans to improve the assistant's speed and speech recognition model. There are no other details about the new Siri yet.

When to wait

As usual, Apple is expected to show the new version of the software at next year's WWDC conference.
