Rumour: Apple will release a stable version of iOS 17.1 today

Apple has been testing iOS 17.1 for a few weeks now, and it looks like the stable release of the software will take place today, 24 October.

What we know

The information was shared by our colleagues from MacRumors. The firmware should be released for all supported iPhone models at 14:00 (EDT) or 11:00 (PDT).

The system will receive a number of fixes, as well as several small but useful innovations. For example, Apple will improve the Apple Music app with the release of iOS 17.1. Instead of the Love section, the app will have a Favorite section. It will display your favourite songs and albums. In addition, the developers will change the work of AirDrop and add advanced features of StandBy mode.

By the way, besides iOS 17.1, today we should also wait for the release of iPadOS 17.1, macOS Sonoma 14.1, tvOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1 and HomePod 17.1.
