Microsoft adds DALL-E-based image generator to Edge

Last month, Microsoft announced image generation technology built right into Edge and is now slowly making it available to users around the world. Using this tool is simple: type a query into Bing to find the images you want. Bing will then generate a number of relevant images for you to work with. All you have to do is download the ones you like and use them as you see fit.

In a blog post, Microsoft describes the feature as a tool for creating "very specific" visuals that can be useful when creating social media posts or creating slideshows or documents. Previously, this was possible with various tools, such as OpenAI's DALL-E, Microsoft's Bing image creation site, the built-in image generator in Bing Chat, etc. However, it's now much easier to ask artificial intelligence to take a few images right in Edge in the sidebar while you're busy doing other things online.

According to Microsoft, to use this feature, you first need to manually add it to the sidebar. To do this, you need to open the sidebar, click the "+" button, and toggle the switch next to Image Creator.
