The collaboration between Arrowhead Studios and PlayStation has become a real triumph thanks to the phenomenal success of Helldivers 2. However, as it became known, the Swedish studio decided to go its own way and finance its next game independently, without direct involvement of Sony. This news was announced by Arrowhead CEO Shams Georgiani in his Discord message, as quoted by Forbes. According to him, the studio's next project is "100% self-funded," which will allow Arrowhead to fully control all key decisions about the game.
