Critics met Assassin's Creed Mirage with restrained reviews. At the same time, everyone notes that fans of the franchise will be happy with the new game from Ubisoft
Assassin's Creed Mirage will be released tomorrow, and today critics published the first reviews of Ubisoft's new game.
Here's What We Know
Most likely, Assassin's Creed fans will be satisfied with the continuation of the franchise, because, according to experts, not much has changed in it, although the lack of significant innovations they attribute more to the minuses of the game than to the pluses.
In Mirage everything that was good in the series - remained at a high level: excellent work with the setting, impressive visual design, quality technical execution, exciting gameplay and beautiful locations. Critics note that Ubisoft has fulfilled its promise and stealthy action is finally encouraged in Mirage.
But all this is accompanied by a boring plot, uninteresting characters, empty open world, and the general secondary nature of the game is felt.
Assassin's Creed Mirage doesn't have as high scores as Ubisoft would like:
- 76 points - Opencritic,with 72% of recommendations;
- 77 points - Metacritic, PC version;
- 78 points - Metacritic, PlayStation 5 version;
- 77 points - Metacritic, Xbox Series version.
The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and the iPhone 15 Pro.
