So, in Turkey the cost of the standard edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 changed from 115 liras to 1560 liras - it is more than 10 times!
Famous journalist and analyst Idle Sloth reported that in dollar equivalent prices for games in Turkish and Brazilian Steam increased as follows:
- CoD (2003) - from $9 to $19
- CoD 2 - from $9 to $19
- CoD: Black Ops - from $18 to $29
- CoD: Black Ops II - from $21 to $49
- CoD: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) - from $9 to $19
- CoD: Modern Warfare (2019) - from $50 to $55
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - from $40 to $55
- Crash Bandicoot 4 - from $55.50 to $66.50
- Spyro Reignited Trilogy - from $30 to $38
- Prototype - from $9 to $19
- Prototype 2 - from $18 to $38.
There is a possibility that the increased prices will soon be added to Game Pass, but such a sharp price increase seems unjustified, especially in the case of frankly old games (Prototype).
