Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been released, and Square Enix has launched an epic trailer in honour of it

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second of three planned parts of the remake of the 1997 cult JRPG, was released today.

Here's What We Know

Publisher Square Enix has unveiled a spectacular trailer of the new game, which shows perfectly staged story scenes featuring all the key characters, as well as several gameplay episodes.

Cloud and his companions will once again find themselves at the centre of incredible and devastating events that threaten the entire world.

Critics were delighted with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and gave the game the highest marks, recommending all Final Fantasy fans not to miss such a significant release, especially since Square Enix's new game was ranked second on Metacritic among the games in the series, behind only Final Fantasy IX, which has only one point more.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a temporary PlayStation 5 exclusive, and will be released on PC in a few months.
