Brazilian gamers will have to pay even more, as Sony has suddenly raised the prices of many games on the Brazilian PS Store. This decision outraged local players, and it is not surprising: the increase affected both PlayStation games and third-party titles.
This time, Sony is in the dock, accused of "abusing its dominant position in the console market" and artificially inflating software prices in the PS Store. The class action lawsuit filed in the Netherlands by the non-profit organisation Stichting Massaschade & Consument claims to be acting on behalf of 1.7 million Dutch players.

Get your wallets ready, because this weekend PlayStation Plus celebrates its 15th anniversary. In honour of this milestone, PlayStation is teasing subscribers with limited-time discounts on the PS Store. This is your chance to buy your favourite games at attractive prices, as well as get a number of additional benefits.
PlayStation fans who have been dreaming of diving back into classic PS3 games via streaming on PS Plus Premium, hold on! When the retro-oriented subscription tier was introduced a few years ago, many took it as a chance to free up titles stuck on the old system. However, that hope never materialised: most of the PS3 library on PS Plus Premium is simply a copy of what was on PS Now before it was reorganised, and there have been very few new additions since launch. In fact, the first two Resistance titles appeared on the service and then were removed less than six months later! This leaves fans of Grand Theft Auto 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots with little hope of their favourite games being rescued.
If you were hoping that Sony would follow Microsoft's lead and add its exclusives to PS Plus right after release, we have news for you: that's not going to happen! Sony is sticking to its tried and true strategy of not wanting to devalue its top-notch content by adding it to the service at launch.
