Xiaomi unveils Redmi 12: 90Hz display, MediaTek Helio G88 chip, NFC, 5000mAh battery and 50MP triple camera for €209

Xiaomi has unexpectedly unveiled a new budget smartphone, the Redmi, in Europe.

Here's What We Know

The novelty has been named Redmi 12. The smartphone has a 6.79-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. At the top of the screen, a hole has been marked for an 8 MP front camera. The main one got three 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP sensors.

The gadget runs on a MediaTek Helio G88 processor paired with 4/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. The device has NFC and Bluetooth 5.3. The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery. It supports 18W charging.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Redmi 12 is already available in Portugal. Sales of the device will start in the coming days.

The smartphone will cost from 209 euros.
