Following the Galaxy A71 5G: Samsung began updating the Galaxy A42 5G to Android 13 in the U.S.

A couple of hours ago, we wrote that Samsung began updating Samsung Galaxy A71 5G users in the U.S. started getting Android 13 with One UI 5. Now the firmware has been released for another model of this series.

Here's What We Know

We are talking about the model Galaxy A42 5G. The update came out with the build number A426USQU4DVL2 and it has already begun to be distributed to carrier smartphone models.

With the new version of the software, Galaxy A42 5G received the November Google security patch, which closes many vulnerabilities in the system. In addition, the developers have added to the firmware a new proprietary One UI 5.0 shell. It boasts a new user interface, updated applications, as well as new features and improved security.
