SpaceX abruptly cancels Falcon 9 launch with military satellites for Pentagon 3 seconds before launch

SpaceX is preparing for a second attempt to send US Department of Defense military satellites into space. The first attempt failed.

Here's What We Know

SpaceX was preparing to send a Falcon 9 rocket carrying ten satellites into space for the Pentagon. The launch was scheduled for 30 March, but the company announced it had postponed the launch due to an unknown malfunction.

The mission team started the countdown, but the rocket launch was abruptly cancelled 3 seconds before liftoff. SpaceX said Falcon 9 had an automatic failure at zero second. What this is related to has not yet been specified.

SpaceX will make a second attempt to launch Falcon 9 and military satellites very soon. The company said that the rocket and payload are in good condition. By the way, the satellites are intended for the early-warning system that the U.S. Space Force is working on.
