Spotify announces widget for iPhone lock screen

Spotify has added a useful new innovation to its branded app.

Here's What We Know

It's about a widget for the iPhone lock screen (works on devices with iOS 16 and above). It appears in the latest version of the app. It is already available in the App Store. With the widget, users can launch the app in one click.

To add the Spotify widget, tap and hold the lock screen. Then tap the "Personalise" button and "Add widget". After that, select the widget you want from the list.
