TAI unveils ANKA 3 nuclear bomber style B-21 Raider drone
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has unveiled a new drone. The model is called the ANKA 3 and is a striking unmanned aerial vehicle.
Here's What We Know
We first found out about the drone last year, when TAI published the first images of the new Anka-3 Northrop Grumman X-47B style stealth drone. Now, the company has shown an actual photo that captures the new drone.
The ANKA 3 is equipped with a turbofan jet engine. The drone's specifications are being kept secret, but it is known to have a maximum take-off weight of around 7,000kg.
Türkiye Yüzyılı'nda milletimize olan sözümüzü tuttuk. MMU ve HÜRJET taksi yaptı, ATAK 2 yakında motor çalıştıracak, ANKA 3 de ilk uçuşunu gerçekleştirecek. Binlerce çalışma arkadaşımız ve iş ortaklarımızla ortaya çıkardığımız ürünlerimizi Çanakkale şehitlerimize armağan ediyoruz. pic.twitter.com/hQVzY774UK

The novelty is made by the scheme of "flying wing". In this regard, it looks like a next-generation nuclear bomber B-21 Raider, developed by Northrop Grumman. Speaking strictly about drones, the US company's range includes Northrop X-47B with a similar design.
The photo of ANKA 3 was published by Temel Kotil, CEO of TAI, along with pictures of the fifth-generation fighter, which recently passed another test. The first flight of the drone will take place in 2023.
