Following Google's Pixel 8 Pro: Insider reveals Pixel 8 will be a compact flagship with a 5.8in screen and dual camera

Yesterday, March the 14th, insider OnLeaks shared Insider shows what the Google Pixel 8 Pro will look like with a flat-screen display, triple camera and LiDAR counterpart like the iPhone 14 Pro, and today it has published images of the base model.

Here's What We Know

Unlike the current model, the Pixel 8 will be a compact smartphone. The novelty will feature a 150.5×70.8×8.9mm body with a 5.8-inch flat screen and an opening for the front-facing camera. The main one will get two sensors. They will be mounted on a horizontal ledge.

The Pixel 8 is expected to run on the proprietary Tensor G3 processor. The chip is rumoured to be based on Samsung's Exynos 2300 processor.

When We Can Expect It

Google plans to show off the Pixel 8 in May at the I/O 2023 event. The full presentation of the new product will take place in the autumn.
