12-inch 144Hz display and MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor: insider reveals some vivo Pad 2 specs

Chinese insider Digital Chat Station continues to reveal details about vivo's new tablet.

Here's What We Know

So, the vivo Pad 2 will get a 12-inch IPS matrix display with a resolution of 2560×1600p. The screen will support a picture refresh rate of 144Hz.

The tablet is also expected to be powered by MediaTek's top-of-the-line Dimensity 9000 processor. The chip is built on 4nm TSMC technology. It has one Cortex-X2 core with a maximum clock speed of 3.05GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores at 2.85GHz, four Cortex-A510 cores at 1.8GHz and 10-core Mali-G710 graphics.

Incidentally, the exact same SoC is found in the OnePlus Pad. The new products will compete with each other.

When We Can Expect It

There is no date for the announcement of the vivo Pad 2 yet. If rumors are to be believed, the device will be shown in April along with the vivo X Fold 2 and vivo X Flip foldable smartphones.
