Sony is working on making the PS VR2 headset compatible with personal computers

The PS VR2 virtual reality headset was released exactly a year ago and didn't attract much attention from buyers.

At the moment the device is compatible only with the PlayStation 5 console, but the situation will change in the near future.

Here's What We Know

Sony has announced that PS VR2 compatibility with PC will be realised within a few months.

It is not yet known if this means that users will be able to run games created for other headsets, or if gamers will still only be able to play PS VR2 games.

Sony did not give a specific timeline for the introduction of PS VR2 connectivity to PC, limiting itself to a duty "in 2024," but the PlayStation Blog urged users to "stay tuned."

It's likely that Sony is looking to boost PS VR2 sales with this decision, as it's no secret that the company is disappointed with the current numbers.
