The Turn Alive Foundation bought a simulator with a virtual reality helmet for the Armed Forces. With its help soldiers will learn to use man-portable air defense systems "Igla"

The "Return to Live" Foundation continues to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This time they bought for the military a special simulator with a virtual reality helmet, which will allow to train soldiers to use MANPADS "Igla".
What we know
The simulator costs 1,200,000 UAH and it has already been transferred to the Main Personnel Training Center of the State Security Service of Ukraine. According to the heads of the Training Center, this training complex will train anti-aircraft gunners not only for the Border Guard Service, but also for all types of troops and subdivisions. By the way, this is only a part of the large project for 6,000,000 UAH. In total, the foundation plans to purchase 6 such simulators.

How it works
The complex includes a computer, monitors, VR-glasses and a training launcher "Needle" with a lot of sensors. A soldier hears and sees the virtual target, holds the MANPADS and prepares it for launch, aims and destroys the enemy. Everything is like in combat conditions, but with one important difference - in one day one person can make dozens of training launches without wasting ammunition. Thus a soldier could make 200-400 launches in several days and bring all the skills to automatism.

Recall that recently the foundation "Return Alive" also bought for the AFU 100 unmanned Atlas complexes worth 5 000 000 euros.
