White House announces nearly $3,000,000,000 in new military aid for Ukraine to buy air defense, artillery, drones, radars, and ammunition

In honor of Ukraine's Independence Day, the United States announced a new military aid package.
Here's What We Know
The corresponding announcement appeared on the White House website. The new package is for $2,980,000,000. This is the largest military aid package ever given to Ukraine.
With this money Ukraine will be able to buy modern air defense systems, artillery and ammunition for it, anti-missile drone systems, as well as radars.
Recall that the previous US military aid package was announced last week. It included howitzers, additional ammunition for HIMARS, mine-protected vehicles, TOW anti-tank missiles and Javelin missiles.
