On the morning of September 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a Russian secret drone in the south of the country.

Here's What We Know

This was reported by the press service of the Air Force Command of UA Armed Forces. We are talking about the UAV "Cartograph" (unofficial name), which is part of the family of multipurpose unmanned systems "Ptero". It boasts 12 cameras.

Cartograph is usually used to create panoramic aerial photography and video coverage of the area. In addition, it can also point artillery. UAV flight is controlled by automatic PteRoBot system. By the way, the Cartograph looks very similar to the drones of the Orlan family. The model was specially developed for the needs of the FBI.
