Ukraine has finally received a modern IRIS-T air defense system from Germany. And it is already operating in the south of the country.

Yuriy Ignat, the speaker of the Air Force of the AFU, told about it in the air of the unified telemarathon news: "IRIS is not yet in the world, Germany supplies it first to Ukraine. And this system is already working in the Armed Forces somewhere in the south. IRIS-T is a good system. It is not a long-range system, but it is very promising, and it can work in the same information field as other systems like NASAMS or Patriot.

Air Systems also expects other systems that Germany plans to supply, as well as NASAMS complexes.
