China prepares to unveil the H-20 nuclear bomber, which will compete with the American B-21 Raider

Less than a month remains before Northrop Grumman unveils its next-generation B-21 Raider nuclear bomber (pictured above). But China is not standing still, either. The Chinese authorities are also preparing to present their strategic bomber.

Here's What We Know

It is reported by the South China Morning Post (SCMP), citing a source who wishes to remain anonymous. According to the source, China is already ready to present its own strategic bomber, but is looking for the right time for this.

The aircraft will be called the H-20. Journalists were very interested in it at the AirShow China 2022, which comes to an end this weekend. However, representatives of the Chinese Air Force limited themselves to a statement about the continuation of the comprehensive modernization of the capabilities, whatever that means.

As for the U.S. B-21 Raider, it will be unveiled at the Northrop Grumman plant in California on Dec. 2. The first flight is scheduled for next year. At the moment, six nuclear-powered Rider bombers are in production.
