Instead of French CAESARs: Colombia will buy Israeli ATMOS 155-mm self-propelled artillery systems based on Tatra chassis

The Colombian Defense Ministry has decided to purchase the 155-mm ATMOS self-propelled artillery units from the Israeli company Elbit Systems.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by Defense News, citing its sources. We are talking about 18 units worth $ 101,700,000. Interestingly, many military analysts and experts originally said that Colombia would buy the CAESAR SAU from the French company Nexter, but it seems that the contract has not been signed.
