Xiaomi Pad 5 has started receiving the global HyperOS update

Xiaomi continues to update its devices to the global version of HyperOS firmware and the Xiaomi Pad 5 is next in line. This update, which was first released in China, is gradually coming to other regions as well.

The HyperOS update of the Xiaomi Pad 5 series has already been released in China and now this tablet has started receiving the new software in the global market as well. The HyperOS Global firmware has been given the build number OS1.0.1.1.0.TKXMIXM and is 1.6GB in size. The update to HyperOS Global is expected to be available to all users in the coming weeks.

Xiaomi may roll back the update if any bugs are found and this means that it may take some time before the new HyperOS will be available to all Xiaomi Pad 5 users.

This will be the last major UI update for the Xiaomi Pad 5. Xiaomi is expected to stop supporting updates for the tablet after some time.
