Valve revealed the date of the start of sales of the Steam Deck portable game console with an AMD chip

Valve Company, Valve Introduces Steam Deck: Compact Nintendo Switch Style Game Console With AMD Chip Starting From $399, announced the start date of sales of new items.

When to expect

According to the company's official website, Steam Deck sales will begin on February 25, and shipments on February 28. Those who pre-ordered the new product will be the first to receive the device.

Recall, Steam Deck will be available in three memory modifications: 64 GB ($399) 256 GB ($529) and 512 GB ($649). As far as characteristics are concerned,The device has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1200×800p, 400 nits brightness and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The gadget runs on an AMD chip with Zen 2 architecture, paired with an RDNA 2 graphics accelerator, 16 GB of RAM and an SSD drive. If desired, the memory can be expanded with a microSD card. The set-top box is powered by a 40 Wh battery. Autonomy should be enough for 2-8 hours.
