Sony launched new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscriptions in the US
Gamers in the United States who have been eagerly anticipating the debut of Sony's new PS Plus Extra and Premium membership subscriptions will be relieved to know that they are now available, with three distinct tiers in all. PlayStation Plus Essential is priced at $9.99 per month and provides what you might expect from the previous version of PlayStation Plus together with online play for most titles in the catalog.
The PlayStation Plus Extra subscription service, which costs $14.99 per month, gives you access to the PlayStation 5 and 4 game libraries for you to download and play at your leisure. The top tier is represented by PlayStation Plus Premium, which costs $17.99 per month and includes everything from the first two tiers as well as special game demos and a selection of PlayStation 1, 2, 3, and PSP games with cloud gaming available for select titles.
