Ubisoft will make it possible to transfer purchases from Stadia to PC

Ubisoft will allow to transfer games from the Google Stadia platform to the PC. It was told by The Verge.

Here's What We Know

As we wrote earlier, Google is closing its project of cloud gaming service Google Stadia, so, for those who used the service, it's time to look for another platform for games. And the good news for them will be the possibility to transfer Ubisoft projects to the "orthodox" platform.

"Although Stadia will discontinue on January 18, 2023, we are happy to let you know that we are now working to allow you to move your library of Stadia games to PC via Ubisoft Connect," says Jessica Roache, senior manager of corporate communications for Ubisoft. "We'll have more information later on the specific details as well as how it will affect Ubisoft+ subscribers."

While the transition process itself may cause inconvenience, since you may not have a powerful PC at home, these are still steps in the right direction. Time will tell if other companies will follow Ubisoft's lead.
