Archer is a modern Swedish 155 mm self-propelled artillery unit based on Volvo A30D 6×6 chassis. It is designed to destroy manpower, artillery batteries, bunkers, as well as to provide passages in minefields and field barriers. The SAU is operated by 3-4 people. It is capable of engaging targets at ranges up to 60 km (with Excalibur rounds).
