Windowscentral: Microsoft considering expanding power-saving features for Xbox and PC games

According to Windowscentral, a poll has appeared on the Xbox Insider Hub that suggests Microsoft is looking to expand its power-saving features for Xbox consoles and PC games.

Here's What We Know

Microsoft asks users about features that would reduce frame rate and resolution. This will reduce power consumption. It is worth noting that the survey does not necessarily mean that the function should appear. But Microsoft is clearly interested in this topic.

Windowscentral also shared a screenshot with questions from Microsoft. The survey asks users if they would be interested in features that reduce power consumption in games, both during operation and in standby mode.

Flashback

One of the latest updates for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S added a power settings menu that shows how much power gamers will save when switching between power saving and standby modes.

Given the situation with the power supply, such innovations are really useful.
