Worldwide sales of GeForce RTX 4080 started: in Europe the graphics cards cost from €1785, and in the U.S. - from $1199
A few weeks after the presentation the GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card went on sale. Reviews of the new product appeared the day before and demonstrate its superiority over the GeForce RTX 3080. But do not forget that the price is increased by $500.
Here's What We Know
The cost of the Founders Edition was $1199. In the U.S. for this money are also available variants Ventus, Eagle, TUF Gaming, Trinity and Gaming VERTO performed by MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, Zotac and PNY. The most expensive model is the ASUS GeForce ROG Strix RTX 4080. It costs $1550.
But the Europeans can only dream about such prices. The largest German retailer Mindfactory does not sell video cards at all, while in other stores the price starts from €1,785 with the recommended €1,470.
Separately, we should note the sharp increase in the official price of the GeForce RTX 4080 compared to the GeForce RTX 3080. As we wrote above, the novelty in the U.S. is $500 more expensive. The price of new generation graphics cards in Europe increased by 110%.
