It's official: Spain decides to give Ukraine 10 Leopard 2 tanks instead of 6

The other day Spain announced that it planned to transfer six Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. But after the visit of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to Kyiv, the government changed its mind and decided to increase the number of weapons.

According to the country's prime minister, Spain will increase the number of tanks from 6 to 10. Part of the weaponry is to be handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the coming weeks, and part in the coming months. Ukrainian crews are already learning to use the Leopard 2. The training programme is taking place in Poland and Germany. By the way, apart from Spain, the AFU will also receive Leopard 2 tanks from Poland, Canada, Portugal, Germany and Norway.
