Nintendo has announced that Pac-Man 99 will leave the Switch Online subscription later this year. According to the company, the paid add-on, which contains three offline modes and a bunch of custom themes, will be available even after the game is deleted, but all online features, including the main Pac-Man 99 mode, will be unavailable.

According to the information provided by Nintendo, the exclusion schedule is as follows:

  • 8 August - the ability to purchase custom themes will disappear;
  • 8 September - Pac-Man 99 Deluxe Pack and Pac-Man 99 Mode Unlock DLC will be removed from the Nintendo eShop;
  • 8 October - the main game and free custom themes will be removed from the store, and online services will stop working.

Pac-Man Mode Unlock DLC costs $14.99 and includes three modes - CPU Battle, Blind Time Attack, and Score Attack. All of these modes are standalone and will be available to play after 6 October.
