DxOMark liked the dual camera Xiaomi Mi Note 3

Following the Meizu Pro 7 Plus, another Chinese smartphone, Xiaomi Mi Note 3, fell into the hands of DxOMark specialists. The camera's dual camera capabilities were rated at 90 points, at the level of the best cameraphones of last season. This is a big step forward in comparison with Xiaomi Mi 5, which strongly took positions in poor lighting and received only 79 points.

What kind of camera?

The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 dual system consists of a main 12 megapixel camera with f / 1.8 diaphragm and four-axis optical image stabilization, as well as a second 12-megapixel module with a focal length of 52 mm and f / 2.6 optics, which provides double optical zoom. Since the characteristics of the camera Xiaomi Mi6 are identical, the conclusions of experts can be attributed to the compact flagship of the company.

How does he take pictures?

The DxOMark team liked the fast autofocus Xiaomi Mi Note 3 and the bokeh effect with a background blur. In the afternoon the smartphone makes excellent photos and rarely makes mistakes with the white balance, but in the shadows you can see the noise. In poor lighting, the image quality is expected to drop. As a result, for photographing the smartphone received as much as 94 points, it's more than the Apple iPhone 8, Google Pixel and HTC U11.

The average rating was lowered for the video recording mode - despite the good work of the optical stabilizer and autofocus, the detailing of the picture leaves much to be desired. Also, sometimes the frame rate drops noticeably. In this test Xiaomi Mi Note 3 received only 82 points.

On whom will they be equal?

At the top of the DxOMark ranking is Google Pixel 2 with a score of 98 points, and Apple iPhone X and Huawei Mate 10 Pro did not have a score to take his place.
