The new Google Chrome will silence the sites

Updating the browser Google Chrome brought not only the new features of protection from advertising tabs. Now users can completely turn off sound on sites with automatic playback of video advertising and not only.

How it works?

Until now, the browser was only able to disable sound on separate tabs, and the function itself had to be activated on the experimental capabilities page. In Google Chrome 64, the option appeared in the context menu of the tab. It translates into silent mode all the opened pages of the site:

Just right-click on the tab and mute the sound. The state is remembered even after the site is closed and exited from Chrome. You can return everything back through the same menu.

Anything else?

Chrome 64 for Windows has got support for HDR-standards, but to see the difference in displaying a picture you need a compatible monitor and Windows 10 with an autumn update. The desktop version of the browser also received fixes for the vulnerabilities Meltdown and Specter . From trivialities - the style of displaying underscores of links has changed (the line does not overlap the remote elements of fonts). It looks strange.

Next month Google will also launch a blocker of annoying ads .
