MWC 2018: Lenovo Yoga 730 and Yoga 530 laptop turntables
A series of announcements Lenovo at the exhibition MWC 2018 started not with the novelties of the mobile unit, but two laptop transformers Yoga 730 and Yoga 530.

Compared with the models of last season, they became even more compact, and the older model also received the support of the assistant Alexa in addition to Cortana. However, both voice assistants do not work for us. Lenovo Yoga 730 will be available in versions with a screen diagonal of 13 and 15 inches, and you can choose from a rotary Full HD display (1920x1080 pixels) and a UHD panel with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. Lenovo Active Pen 2 pen is supported with 4096 levels of sensitivity to pressing.
Lenovo Yoga 730 runs on Intel Core processors of the eighth generation up to Core i7. RAM up to 16 GB, a 15-inch version of the SSD-drive capacity reaches 1 TB, and as an option, discrete graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 is available. There are two full-sized USB-ports and one Thunderbolt 3 / USB Type-C. The 13-inch version, on the contrary, has two symmetrical Thunderbolt 3 connectors and one USB 3.0. The battery life reaches 11-11.5 hours depending on the model, the 15-inch transformer with a 4K-display, this figure is only 9 hours. Declared fast charging (up to 2 hours of operation in 15 minutes).
With an aluminum case thickness of only 17.15 mm, the 15-inch Lenovo Yoga 730 weighs 1.89 kg, while the smaller model has 14.1 mm and 1.12 kg, respectively. There is a fingerprint scanner and JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos technology.
Lenovo Yoga 530 with 14-inch display is also equipped with Intel Core processors of the eighth generation, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB on SSD. Full HD or HD panel resolution. Optional NVIDIA GeForce MX130 graphics card is available. As in the Yoga 730, there is an HDMI interface, two USB 3.0 and one USB Type-C (but not Thunderbolt 3). On one charge, the laptop will last about 10 hours. The novelty and the fingerprint scanner for logging in with Windows Hello was also delivered. The thickness of the metal body is 11.6 mm, weight - 1.6 kg.
When and how much?
The start of sales Lenovo Yoga 730 is scheduled for April, the price starts from 1000 euros for the 13-inch model and 1100 euros for the 15-inch version. The stylus is included in the package. More affordable Lenovo Yoga 530 is expected in July at a price of 550 euros.
