On the official website of the Federal Communications Commission, the information was found on the processors of two new smartphones - Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus.

What is known

The document says that the usual Moto E5 will receive two model numbers: XT1924-4 and XT1924-5. According to the FCC, the smartphone was equipped with a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz. In addition, the video accelerator Adreno 308 will work with it. As for the older version of the device, it appeared under the number XT1924-3 and it will have a slightly more powerful chip - Snapdragon 430 with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz and Adreno 505 GPU.

Speaking of other specifications, it was previously reported that the new models of the Moto E5 line will receive screens with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, but they have different diagonals. There will also be a difference in battery life. In Moto E5 - 2800 mAh, and in the Plus version - 4000 mAh. Both smartphones "out of the box" should work on Android 8.0 Oreo.

When to expect

Motorola has not yet announced the date of the announcement of new devices. But it is known that tomorrow (April 19) at the event in Brazil, the manufacturer will introduce a new line of Moto G6. Probably, in the same place and will show Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus
